Hey guys. I have House Of Sand And Fog on my computer. The file is this.

(uNi)House.of.Sand.and.Fog.DVDRip.XViD-DcN

I tried burning it with nero and it was taking so long to ENCODE the video so I stopped it> I want to burn it onto a VCD, but when i try to it doesnt fit.

It's 287 mbs long. I don't know how to burn dvds so this is my question.

1) If i can fit it onto a VCD, what must i do. What should I use to encode, and author and burn.

2) if it wont fit on VCD, how can i burn the dvd. Im really new at this stuff so please help would be appreciated.

Well, since its XviD encoded, I would not suggest burnign it to a VCD, as it would take a long time to encode and would greatly decrease it's quality. I suggest reading one of the guides on how to convert DivX/XviD to DVD right here on AfterDawn ( http://www.afterdawn.com/guides ). dvdSanta is a good choice for Newbies. Make sure you have a DVD Burning Drive first, as opposed to a Cd Burning Drive.

I have a little Jiffy.

In the guide it says.

Take the paper in front of you that you used when you wrote down the fps value from AVIcodec. If the fps is 25.000fps, you should select DVD - PAL and if the fps is either 23.976 or 29.97, you should select DVD - NTSC.

But mine is, 26.327 fps.

I chose NTSC because im in canada so thats how they read the dvd up here, please corret me if im wrong.
