Hey (this is my first post) ok.. im really having a problem with the sony dvd player in my living room (its pretty irratating...)

You see, when im watching a dvd... The background music and background sounds are INCREDIBLY LOUD... while the dialog is incredibly low... So thats kind of a problem.. Becouse the only way to hear the people is to put the volume on the t.v really high... but as soon as the background music plays, it is EXTRMELY loud.. i mean it could blow out my speakers.....

So i was thinking about what this problem could possibly mean, and the first thing that came to my head "well the audio on the dvd player might be set on surrond sound, but i dont have surrond sound speakers...." so i checked and changed it a bit (though to be honest, i have no clue what some of these codes mean lol) So here is exactly whats in the audio menu.. If you guys know what i can change to stop this... it would be a huge help

Audio ATT: on
Audio DRC: Standard
Downmix: Normal
Digital out: Off
