is it ok to put cd labels on ps2 backups or does it harm the motor? thanks for your answers

a lot of people say the games play bad or don't work whne you put labels on them.

Use a black Sharpie (permanent) Marker and just write the name right on the disc. That's what i do.

Thats what I used to do to backup my dreamcast games, but that is quite ugly. I know it's pointless, but I would like to make the back-ups look almost like the originals. Just for my own thought...lol..

the best way is to get a printer that can print on discs.

I've labeled a few movies, but then I ran out of black ink and I don't wanna spend $40 on a new one, so I just write on them now. Anyway, I never had any problems with the labels on the movies, so I assume the games will be no different.

yeah i put them on movies all the time and they play fine i was just wondering about the wear and tear on my ps2.
btw sly i got my fliptop and magic 3.3 and everything work with no probs. so im selling my matrix infinity chip. thanks for the help
