FIFA 2005 and PES 4 No Longer working

I tried ripping these to my Xbox HDD. Both worked the 1st time but now neither works. PES4 locks after loading from hdd after program has loaded.
FIFA doesn't boot at all - even from original disc with the MS dashboard.
Anyone got any ideas?
I am using a xenium ICE with evolution X
SAme prob with UEFA 04/05 - now original disc not booting at all!
I want to play football
