I hav tried many times to convert an AVI file to .mpg, .vob, another .avi, etc, many times with many different programs...and the result is always the same..the result is great except the video just freezes on the same frame while the sound continues uninterrupted...the original avi file plays fine with DivX so i didnt think it is a codec problem so i hav no idea where to start...thanks for any advice!
