hey everyone. i recently tried making a couple backups with some no name brand external dvd-burner and got 4 coasters in a row. i used verbatim dvd-r's and dvd decrypter at 1x. i guess i'll try to return the burner. anyone have any suggestions for reliable external burners? thanks.

try a Lg or sony burner and make sure nothing is in the way between ur burner and pc
