Installed flip top on PSTwo slim, but DVDs not spinning

Hey all,

I just ordered a flip top cover and Swap Magic 3.3 for my PSTwo slim. I installed it, and everything seemed to go fine (except those two metal pieces holding the small screws on the lid fell out, but I put them back in).

However no DVD's will spin when I turn on the PSTwo - it will just boot into the standard menu. I reinstalled the standard lid and it worked fine.

Tonight I was able to get a normal game working by putting a book on top of the PSTwo, but I can't replicate that anymore. I read a suggestion to remove black coil which pushes the flip top up, and did that but it didn't seem to have any effect.

I'd really appreciate any more suggestions. Thanks!
