I burnt a vcd on a rw disk but when played in standalone and computer dvd players the audio and video dont match.
I downloaded VirtualDub and thought I had them in order but did'nt work either.{unless I missed something}
If I play my .vob files everything is ok.
Any suggestions?

Does the gap increase when you go further in the movie or is the audio already out of synch in beginning of the movie (and stay at the same for rest of the movie)?

it came out as a 2 disk movie and i only burnt the second half as to see if it was really was gonna work on my dvd player, since it was a smaller file.
so I really dont know from the begining of the movie, but there is about a 4-5 second diff with the audio being late.
like I stated the .vob files are ok, and I just checked my .mpeg files and they are off also.
hope this helps if not let me know what other info you need.

You need to know this issue, because if the audio is already in the beginning of the movie out of synch, it's just slight timing issue. If the gap increases when movie goes further, the problem is with video's framerate.

its not as bad at the beginning about 1-2 secs.
when I ran DVD2AVI in the info box it showed...
Aspect 16:9
Frame Rate 24.000 fps
Video Type Film
Frame Type Progressive
if any of this helps
