please help, i hooked up my usb cable to the computer, purchased MTP, and when the phone pops up on MTP it says, "Initializing", and doesn't change.

i have the MPT v3.11 installed, and when the phone comes up on the side it wont stop saying, "initializing", how can i get my phone to connect
