i am trying to download to my harddrive, my video from my Sony DVD-rw 1.4 GB disc using Nero Express-3 via 'add video Files' ( i can't seem to use the 'import disc' option, says it's not a valid disc.) i was able to downlaod the VIDEO_TS ok. the error came midway though downloading the VTS_01_1.VOB file. I Can play the disc on my camcorder, i can play the disc using Nero's player. This was the first recording on this mini disc. i was able to get the movie from Sony DVD-R disc into the project.
