is it possible to burn a mpg file onto a cd or dvd disc and if it is will the mpg file work with
my non-modded ps2

not straight away it wont play, you either need to make the mpeg into dvd format using whatever tool you prefer or you need something like the ar2max - i think that allows mpegs to be played on a ps2.
