Is there any program that will let me burn a 2 disc dvd onto one dvd-r?

DVD Shrink can do it for you, but you are going to have an awefull lot of compression, and it probably wouldnt be a good idea. However if you are set on doing it then there is a guide at my website called <Join 2 movies using Shrink> that will show you how to do it. Link ti my site is in my signature :-)
