Im wondering how to install a mod chip i have the no 50001 on my ps2 can anybody take me step by step to install a mod chip.

Choose a mod chip and find the install diagram for that mod chip here, http://www.geocities.com/modchipzone/ps21.htm

I would suggest getting either a duo2se or a DMS4Pro

yup, messing up is always a possibility. But if you have some soldering experience and take your time, you should have no problem installing it.

to install a modchip into your PS2 you need to solder the chip in. It is a technique used to connect 2 peices of metal
