Using gameshark codes problem

I just got the duo special edition chip in my ps2 and I want to use gameshark codes, I have gameshark 2 v3 but when the tray ejects and I put the copied game into the tray and it closes, it says the disk won't work, how can I get the gameshark to work.

not sure if this will work with your chip or not, but here is how i use to do it.

load the gameshark
chose to start game with codes
eject and put in Swap Magic
then when it wants a disc use swap method and put in DVDLoader
then when it asks for a disc press eject and put swap magic back in
then swap out for the back up game

i also know people who have skipped the last swap magic part and it worked for them
the just went Gameshark, Swap Magic, DVDLoader, then back up.

also it is important that you press eject after the DVDLoader step and not do a swap.
