hi, i purchased a trv38 sony mini dv cam about 2 years ago from america while i was over there, now being digital i didnt realise they recorded in the countries tv system, i would have expected it to be a universal digital storage rather than tv mode.
now weve recorded a university project half in ntsc and half on another camera in pal, so its gonna be a headache sorting that, but what id like to know is.....
is there any software, like flashing the bios on things i can do to make the camera pal. Is there any hardware mods that can be done as i know a very good electrician.

any help is welcomed as im stuck

Forget it. There is no way you can change the camera from NTSC to PAL, but you can rather easily convert your material on your PC.
