DVD Backup doesn't work! Swap Magic!

I read the FAQ. I used DVD Decrypter, lowest speed, PS2 plays originals fine.

However, with Swap Magic upon following the procedure I get "not a valid PS2 disk". What could that be? It makes a squeaky noise while reading. Hope it's not my laser? Originals work fine though.

The solution was that you have to set the entire CD tray in place again correctly by moving the slide tool left at a certain spot. Otherwise, the CD/DVD isn't spinning at all.
