Devil May Cry 3 wont load saves?

I just backed up a copy of my devil may cry 3 game and using my swap magic 3.3 discs it plays perfectly fine. But when i try to load a saved game right after the first mission i get nothing and everytime i click on the load option it just takes me back to the memory card selection screen. Any help would be appreciated. I even burned it at 1x using dvd decrypter using good media. Any one know whats up thanks?

games with protection built in will do that, sounds like its a game that needs to use dvdloader along with swapmagic, check out www.swapmagicfix.com, im betting its on the list.

actually i figured it out not too long after i posted the message it turned out i was pressing the wrong button to load....stupid me. but thanks for the reply and offer to help.
