Hi. Have decrypted the VOB files from my (progressive) DVD onto my hard drive and I can watch them and they appear normal. Ran DVD2AVI to create a DV2 project and downsample the audio (and DVD2AVI also told me the VOB files were progressive). Now, I'm using AviSynth 2.5 to create an AVS script with the DV2 file as the Mpeg2Source and the separated WAV file as the WavSource. Now, when I view the AVS file in any media player, I can clearly see interlaced scan lines (very obvious during fast action parts) and viewing the AVS file slowly frame-by-frame confirmed this. What happened here?
