Hello - I'm still picking most of this information up, so bear with me please...

I'm trying to rip the episodes from a TV Show DVD into dicreet AVI files (one for each episode). What I have done so far is:

1. Rip the DVD disc content using DVDDecrypter. This produces several .VOB files, but they do not directly relate to the episodes - i.e., there is not a single .VOB for each episode.

2. Process the various .VOB files into .AVIs using VirtualDub. Again, the .AVIs did not each contain an episode, the episodes were chunked up all through the .AVIs.

3. Joined all of the .AVIs into onbe big .AVI using VirtualDub. Now at least all of the episodes are in a single .AVI file

Now I need to split that AVI into the discreet episodes. I read the guide about using VirtualDub to split the files. I can't use that process as the required keyframes do not fall exactly inbetween the episodes and I am unable to split the file on anything but the keyframes.

Does anyone know of a tool that will split the large .AVI file into the different episodes at the exact points that I want it too? I have tried a few "AVI Splitter" apps, but they do not give me precise control over where to split the file. Plus I'd like like to be able to mark specific points in the full .AVI and have the app automatically split the file on those points. Also I'd like to keep the episodes to <350MB - so if there is a tool that will split and resize at the same time, that'd be great.

Any advice is appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Just realized that I misstated something. I actually use the AutoGK suite of apps to turn the .VOBs into .AVIs. It shouldn't matter to the answer really, but I just wated to be clear. Thanks.
