I formatted a CF card for me camera on my computer, forgot to reformat on the camera, I took pictures, the camera sees the pictures in review mode, the computer will not find them either through the USB direct link, or through a card reader. They both show the card as empty, kind of, the properties window shows used and free space consistant with the number of photos on the card, but will not bring up any files. Can these files be saved? I see the similar type of problem form earlier this month, I did not format after saving, The files are still there, the camera sees them just like normal photos, but the computer doesn't. Would the file recovery software work, the files don't need to be recovered just put into different format, like opening pc files on a Mac.
