DVD Discs don't work anymore...

ANY DVD disc on the Ps2 does not work. Whether it be game, movie, or whatever, it just gives a Disc Reader Error. I am running off a Matrix Inifinity mod-chip. I disabled the mod-chip to see if that was the cause, and it wasn't. I've cleaned the laser, and it still does not work. Only CD's can play. Ps1 games, music, etc, all of that works.

It doesn't seem to READ the DVD header at all...

Replace the laser or use your ps2 as a paperweight
