Any way to get epprom without original HD??

I have an xbox that I want to softmod with a larger HD, problem is that I don't have the original HD to get the epprom off of. I put the HD in my friend's chipped box and installed Krazie's MA exploit and EvoX. That part all went smoothly. But I have no way to get the virgin box to recognize the drive. If I lock it I get error 06. If I leave it unlocked I get error 05. Is there any way to get the epprom from the virgin box without the original HD. All the tuts use the HD to collect this info. Any thanks would be appreciated. The original HD has been misplaced, and I don't know for sure if it can be found. Thanks in advance guys.

Your eprom is not on the harddisk. So you can just load up a gamesave exploit from a memorycard and copy the eprom from the evox it loads.
