what software do i need to capture a small part of the movie so i can make it as a lil clip for the dvd menu ??

which one is the easiest and light to use ??

help anyone ?

dvd shrink (free) (available in the software section under DVD rippers)
reauthor mode
edit start/end frames


The movie will need to be in a DVD compliant format already for this to work. So basically no AVIs.

hi

if you are useing [ tmpgenc dvd author ] i know you can do it within the menu creation part, i use it! for the clickable link and the background picture of whole screen! the background keeps the sound too

you can select any part of the movie, by default its 15 secs worth but in settings you can change this!

you can also use separate clips of mpeg format! like = mpg / m1v / m2v / m2p
