I wonder if it is possible to put two Playstation 2 CD-ROM disc into 1 DVD disc. sort of a 2-in-1 dvd game.

Its possible. But it won't work. CD game won't work when burnt on DVD. DVD game won't work when burnt on cd.

dvd games can also be ripped to cd format

It can be done.
