hi i downloaded the confusion dvd5 for god of war but as soon as i put it in the ps2 it freezes in the sony computer opening screen. I dont understand y it freezes because most ppl got it working. I am using swap magic 3.0 and burning on dvd decrypter with 1x using philips dvds.

my Confusion Proper works fine, i'm in Pandora's temple now.
Using swap 3.3 on a V1 ps2.
why don't you try using CDLoader.
Old School V1 Flip Top Swap Magic PS2 Biotch.

what do u mean by cd loader? what i also did was that i put the swap magic CD and then i put the DVD swap magic cd and then i used the slid tool to play god of war but still it didnt work..can some one help plz

i think the problem why klaid and soulflyfg can't get their to work is becuase they are not using swap magic ver 3.3
i have both version 2.0 and 3.3, and when i try using it with version 2.0 it freezes on the first screen.
well its clear that klaid is using version 3.0, but just go make sure, what version of swap magic are u using soulflyfg?

ok, now that we know both of your versions, it confirmed that GOW is only good on 3.3

there is a way to get it to work on version 2.0, 3.0
u have to use DVDLoader. go to http://swapmagicfix.com to find it

I wouldn't say "crap". It can be a BIG hassle, but you get what you pay for. I used them for awhile until I managed to install a dms4.

ok u need the swap magic cd and the cdloader from the link stayed above..then u follow the instrucions in that page on how to burn the cdloader and how to use it and u will be able to play it

here are the instrutions on how to use the cdloader
CDLOADER USAGE iNSTRUCTiONS:
1) CDLoader FiXes are images that must be burned to a CDR and swapped in-between your original Swap Magic 2.0 CD and your PS2 game back-up.
With that being stated, insert your Swap Magic CD Disc into your PS2 and at the prompt pictured use your Flip-Top PS2 Cover or Slide Card tool
to switch your Swap Magic CD Disc for your CDLoader CDR disc. Once the swap is made, press X on the controller to load the CDLoader software.
2) At THIS prompt you have (2) choices: You can press X to go to an OPTiON menu used to select specific loader OPTiONs for the titles listed on our
main page that require them, or you can use your Flip-Top PS2 Cover or Slide Card tool to switch your CDLoader CDR with your 1:1 CDR back-up
game, followed by pressing X to load it and enjoy! For loading DVDR back-up games proceed to step #3 below without pressing anything yet.
3) If you wish to play a 1:1 DVDR game back-up at THIS prompt you will have to press EJECT on your PS2 and then insert your Swap Magic DVD Disc
and press X on the controller to reach THIS prompt. Now, use your Flip-Top PS2 Cover or Slide Card tool to switch your original Swap Magic DVD Disc
with your 1:1 DVDR game back-up and press X to load it and enjoy!
NOTE: As stated above, our CDLoader FiXes are images that must be burned to a CDR and swapped in-between your original Swap Magic 2.0 CD and your PS2
game back-up. They can NOT be burned to the same CDR disc as your PS2 game back-up, and if you need help burning PS2 game back-ups click HERE.
