Hi. I'm pretty much a no0b to all this, but basically I want to play import games (i'm not too bothered about copies) on my unmodded 50003 ps2 (non-slim). I do NOT want it modded. I have an Action Replay Max disk which I've HEARD you can use in conjunction with the flip top to play imports, is this true? I could afford a flip top but if it's not necessary i'd rather not. I also read you can simply remove the top of your ps2 and use it like that in conjunction with Swap Magic/Action Replay. Is this true, or even safe? Basically, what's my best option?

Yeah i play my ps2 with no top or disk tray in but i use gameshark not action replay. It works fine and no freezing at all. Swap magic sucks.
