Use DVD Decrypter or AnyDVD prior to DVD Shrink to handle the protection scheme.

Not sure if this is the problem but you have a fat32 format do not rip in .iso mode. Max file size is 4 gb

Does your program also decrypt? I'm not familiar with Mac programs, so I'm just curious.

download DVD Decrypter.rip with this.then use shrink to compress.then use decrypter to burn.go to mode at the top.select iso copy(remember the the file is put)then shrink to compress, then goback to decrypter to burn in iso.i likr to use decrypter in file mode to rip, shrink to compress and Nero to burn, and AnyDVD running in the back.if this doesnt work its probably a pc problem.

DVD Player (an Apple app) gets the codes into mem.
DVD Backup decrypts and backs up the dvd.
DVD2OneX shrinks it to size if needed.
Toast burns the shrunk VIDEO_TS folder to DVD9.

I know it seems like a lot of trouble compared to the Windows methods, but til now it's worked perfectly every time and it affords a nice set of options re whole disc/movie-only, region, image creation.

DVD Backup shows which file it is working on, and a progress indicator. The Julia file it stops on the first 1024-meg VOB, after about a few seconds of working on it. I think it's the one called VTS_01_1.VOB.
