copying downloaded movies to dvd-r

What is the process i need to follow in order to copy a downloaded movie onto a dvd-r disc.
I currently have; DVD shrink, DVD X Rescue, DVD X Copy Platinum.
Are any of these to be used?

I've downloaded a few different file types, mainly Divx and mpeg.

that has worked.
Some of the films I download come in two parts. Can I put both parts on one disc? If so how.
Using previously mentioned software

load both parts at the same time in divxtodvd! it will make 1 film!

I don't suppose you know of a good site to download new movies. I use Limewire at the moment.
I have seen alot of sites that charge an annual fee but don't know which is best if any.
