Can anyone out there tell me if I can use sony dvd-r to back up my games? I have tried more than once to back up my games but with no luck maybe I have the wrong media.

it's subjective... i haven't recieved my swap magic in the mail yet, but.. what program are you using? DVD writer brand? how fast are you burning your games? "HOW, are you imaging them(Iso, etc.)?

Result, my back-up of GTA3 finished 5 min's after I posted this thread, it worked sweet thanks anyway. All I used was DVD Decrypter burning at 1x
