how big is the actual game? How did you burn it? What media did you use? Did you try special boot? What version is your PS2?

The game size is 4499767296 bytes. I burned it with DVD Decrypter. I burned it at the fastest possible rate which is over 56x. I tried special boot. model scph-50001.

Yah, what version ps2 do you have? Looks like a v9 or 10.
So you should be able to use +r media. What brand discs are you using? I don't recommend rw's either.

Try this, buy a (dvd-r 4x speed) DVDs, use the DVD Decrypter to burn the game at the slowest speed. It should work after that.

1. burn at lowest speed possible (52x?? wtf)
2. use quality dvd-r media, not +r or any rw
3. did you downlaod or make an iso from the original?? maybe u got a bad download
4. gta:sa backed up fine for me but i had to leave the room with the pc in so no banging about disturbed the disc writing and make sure you dont have a load of other programs running on the pc whice you burn.
