I was wondering if anyone has ever patched Davilex's Knight Rider Video game for PS2 from PAL to NTSC, or if anyone could give some step by step instructions on how to correctly patch the game to NTSC, i'm a newbie so please have mercy...also I know the game sucks, but i'd still like to play it color. Thanks in advance.
I have looked at that thread previously and have used the ADR patcher, burn at once program, and the PAL to NTSC w/ y fix program, all un sucessfully. When I go to load the game, i get a blue screen, meaning that the copy is good and acepted, but then nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Also this game is CD format for Playstation 2, Not DVD, is this where I'm going wrong? Thanks in advance for you help.
The Steps I use to patch the game are as follows:
1.use burn at once to create ISO file. Naming the file Knight1.iso
2.Use ADR patcher to patch PAL to NTSC
open knight1.iso, click begin search, then it says
1 Patch Found, I click yes, it says patch complete.
3.I re open the file knight1 in burn at once and write to CD.
I have also tried using just burn at once to create and write the cd, with no result. I am also using Swap Magic 2.0 with No Solder Mod Chip. The game is the original PAL disc, not a download. Thanks again for all you help.
I checked Swapmagic Fix 2.0, the game is not listed, probably because its not very popular. Any solutions anybody? The original disc works, but its in black and white and scrolls, when I copy ans try to patch the game doesnt work at all, but is accepted by the swap magic loading program. Thanks again. Please help :(
Can anyone out there please help, I really wana play this game. Do you think it would be easier to just buy and install a new modchip? Thanks in advance everyone. :)
