Please help, avi to DVD NTSC

Hey, i just converted a xvid to a .avi, and now i'm converting that .avi to DVD NTSC, if i'm doing everything right, how would i be able to burn it on nero inorder to be able to play it on my dvd player?. Thanks.

Why did you "convert" and xvid to AVI?
An Xvid is an AVI.
You don't need to do that, you need an mpeg-2 encoder, and something to author and burn the DVD.
Once encoded and authored, Nero will burn it by selecting the DVD Video template.
