Converting VGA to DVI to HDMI

My computer graphics card came with a little DVI to VGA adaptor and I am thinking of using this to connect to my Sony Wega LCD TV.

Would this combination work?
Computer VGA output to VGA/DVI adaptor to DVI-D/HDMI adaptor to TV.

DVI-I/VGA adaptor:

My concern is that i'm not sure if the signal would be in the correct format for HDMI.

Also, I saw a VGA to Component adaptor:

Which option would be better?
