Hi all,

I was reading a post the other day regarding rebuilding ISO's, and i read something about "dummy files" and that you should remove them.

Could someone please tell me wot these dummy files do? and why they should be removed?. And how do you know which files are "dummies"???

For Example:

Shadow of rome has a dummy file. the name is dummy.xxx(i forget the extension).

all you do is open up notepad
hit spacebar once
save as... dummy.xxx(whatever the file extension is)
then replace this file with the actual dummy file

they don't hold any information, hence dummy

hope this helps

I PITY DA FOOL!

Is it true that the dummy files cause the game to load very slow?

Hi
The dummy files are there to bulk out the disc as a form of copy protection
