Finding DVD Checks in PS2 games

I was just wondering how to find dvd checks to the second layer of dual layer DVD9 games. Is there a program that can emulate an image of a dual layer game and is it possible to have another program running where is shows the checks to the second layer while the image is being emulated. I have read somewhere in the GT4 pages that there maybe some program that can do this but the name wasn't mentioned. If anybody can help me out here it would be greatly appreciated. Also one more quick question. What is a good program to down sample ps2 movie.pss files??

translate with altavista.

virtualdub is good to change the quality of movie files. they're extracted as m2v so might need to convert to AVI or similar for VirtualDub. try adobe premiere as well.
