I have my xbox hooked up through the ethernet and my labtop through usb. My ip on my xbox starts with 67 the pc 24. how can i network these to toghether so i can flash my chip? i heard those ip's are public ip's so whats going on?

Get a Crossover cable and connect your Xbox and labotp together. It does not matter what your ip address is on your labtop, just make sure you know your Xbox.

Make sure your chip is installed correctly, and start up your Xbox. Wait a while, (you may have to press a button) and then it should show you your IP address.

Quick question, what kind of mod chip do you have?
