Hi there,

You have converted .AVI files to .VOB files I assume ?

Windows Media Player or any other DVD Player (Software) can play those .VOB files from your hard drive. Play them on your PC, and see if the green line is there. If it's not, it's Nero, if it's there, it's your software that converted it.

I use VSO DivxToDVD to convert my .AVI to DVD and up till now, I'm very happy with the results...

My 2 cents...

Shagger, welcome to aD,

Try to play the files you have on your HD first -

What media are you using and have you checked your players compatibility ?

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php

Remember if you're using discs like, i.e, Verbatim Advanced AZO 16X your player of a year ago may not see it because when your player was manufactured that disc didn't exist.

By the same token, using cheapo discs are not always seen by standalone players.

So let's see what you're using OK ?
