I followed the steps that Rotary recommended. Thank you, but the DVD still fails to start. I'll try to geive you guys as much information as I can. Though I am not as well aclimated to a computer as I would like to be, I know the difference between MB and GB. I defrag regularly; as a matter of fact, I just formatted my harddrive and ran my recovery program. I am using a Sony Vaio, RS530G. I had no problems when I used the three free programs for 1 Click DVD Copy. I began to encounter problems after activation. When I press the 'START' BUTTON, I get the following message: "You do not have 4 MB of free space on any of your hard disks. Please remove some files and try again."
PC specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Version: 5.1.2600
Service Pack: 1.0
Location: C:\Windows
PID: 55277-oem-0011903-00110
Hot Fix: QB816048
Memory (Ram)
Capacity: 512 MB
Processor
Intel (R) 4 CPU 3.20ghZ
vERSION X86 fAMILY 15 mODEL 2 sTEPPING 9
sPEED: 3192 MHa
Intel(R) Pentium (R) CPU 3.20 GHZ
lOCAL dISK 185.95gb
Sum of Hard Disks:
Used: 13.07 GB
Free: 172.88 GB
Thus far, I am only trying to Burn DVDs.
I use Real Play and Windows Media.
I get stopped at the START button irregardless of the media I am attempting to use.
I last defragged on03/25/2005.
I hope that I have prodived the information that you need in order to help me alleviate this problem. Again, I certainly do appreciate your help. TKU
ps:
1,024 Byte - 1 Kilobyte (KB)
1,024 Kilobyte (KB) = 1 Megabyte (MB)
1,073,741,824 Bytes = 1 Gigabyte

RLC,

I questioned your error message because of the size - do not become so easily offended or we won't get anywhere.
