Hi, I keep getting "writing to disc failed" errors with Nero Recode. The first five burns worked flawlessly using ScubaPete's guide on DVDdecrypter and Nero Recode, but then, without changing anything, I started getting the errors and have not been able to burn anything since with Nero. I am able to burn music and data using Nero and movies as an ISO file using DVDdecrypter, so I don't believe it is a problem with the burner. I have tried numerous things such as, 1. Different media. I was using Verbatim DVD-R which according to DVDindentifier are of good quality. Perhaps maybe a bad batch so I bought other Verbatim DVD-R, but no luck. Then bought DVD-RW to stop wasting discs, but still no luck. 2. Uninstalled Roxio easy CD creator and closed all programs running in background while trying to burn. 3. Checked to make sure DMA was turned on, it was. 4. Uninstalled Nero with their clean tool and downloaded and installed latest version. 5. Reinstalled burner drive and tried burning with other DVD-Rom drive disconnected. 6. Updated burner firmware. However, nothing worked and my error log is always pretty much the same. Here is a copy.

I am using Nero Recode 2.2.6.11
My system is Dell Dimension 8100 and the DVD burner is a BenQ 1620 pro.
I have searched numerous threads on this site for help, and have learned a lot, but nothing seems to fix my problem. So, if anyone could shed some light on this subject I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
