I'm useing Windvr 3 to capture. I captured almost 36 hours of programings. now I want to edit out the comercial with premiere pro but I get an audio bitrate problem. and cant do anything.

I tryed changeing the bitrate but still.
I can edit with tmpgenc but there is no audio.
if someone know of a fix.

also, what's a good program to capture with? maybe WinDVR just sux.

setting i'm using.
[Custom NTSC DVD]
Format: MPEG-2 DVD

Audio:
Format: Dolby Digital
Sampling Rate: 48.0 kHz 16-bit Stereo
Bit Rate: 448 KBits/sec

Video:
Size: 720x480
Frame Rate: 29.97 frames/sec
Bit Rate: 4000 KBits/sec

Total:
Bit Rate: 4615 KBits/sec
File split size : 4063 MBytes.
Total record time : 712 minutes

Have you tried editing with Womble mpeg-vcr?

Also, I'd lower the audio bit/r by half since your just capping tv.

Actually WinDVR 3.0 is one of the Better Capture programs...Your Problem isn"t anything to do with the audio bitrate it has to do with The Fact that most editors do not support Dolby Digital AC3 as the audio format Pluss you shouldn"t be useing premier Pro to edit Mpeg files because it will allways re-encode the File when outputting which Ruins the quality and Takes a Long time....(You can natively edit Mpeg file in premier Pro if you have the "MainConcept Mpeg Pro HD" Plugin installed but it still doesn"t support Dolby AC3 audio)

Pluss Tmpgenc"s editor doesn"t support dolby AC3 audio either...

You need to use a Native Mpeg editor that supports Dolby AC3 audio Like "Pfh" mentioned "Womble Mpeg2VCR" which will do what you need done or a more Full featured Mpeg editor like "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2003" would be good also....
