Hello,
Ive recently modded my v4 PS2 with a DMS4 lite, my first ps2 mod.
I am fairly happy that the install went well, but am finding some of my backups do not run properly. I have ToxicBIOS 1.3 flashed.

Games such as my backed up Devil may cry 3 (NTSC) or Tekken 5 (NTSC-J) work perfectly, however my backups of FFX, FFX-2 and San Andreas (all 3 PAL) all freeze at some point. FFX does some wierd things in one of the beginning cutscenes (Speech stops and then characters go all glitchy), FFX-2 there is no video in the first cutscene and the subtitles are all screwed, and San Andreas just doesnt get to the title screen.
Metal Gear Solid 3 doesnt seem make it to the title screen either, but this may be because of a bad copy (nm).

Now what im wondering is if these errors are either due to my bad installation, the ancientness of my PS2/laser, or individual problems with those games in particular.

I am thinking of buying a newer version PS2 and modding that, possibly even a V12, tho that is unlikely. If buying a new laser for my V4 will solve these problems i suppose that could be an alternative, tho i did enjoy the modding, and wouldnt mind another go : )

If such thing exists, which version ps2 is the easiest install, and most compatable?

If anyone knows anything, please guide me in the right direction.
