hey, i havent yet backed up any ps2 games but was wondering if i would need any patches to boot new games, or if theses patches are for people without modchips. I have a mesiah v2 if that helps

Fifa Street for example, are these patches im reading about for swap magic only ? or modchip too ?

You do not need patches for ModChips...Only for Swap Magic you need them-
