CD Swap Magic problem

Lately, my CD Swap Magic decided it wouldnt work anymore, but I can't figure out if the problem is the disk or my ps2. One of the solutions I see is to simply buy a new Swap Magic package even if my DVD Swap Magic still works fine but if the problem is the lens of my ps2, I would have to buy a lens cleaner also and that may still not be the solution. That's why I wanna know 2 things: Is there a way to run CD based game backups with the DVD Swap Magic and some other CD or DVD Loader disks? If not is there a way to burn the CD based games image on a DVD to make it work with DVD Swap Magic. If you see any better solution, I'd like to know it, thanks.
