im using dvdxcopy plat and ive backed up some of my dvds but with harold and kumar i backed it up and when i play it it switches chapters by itself. i thought it was a bad burn so i did it again and same thing. is this like a copyright problem or am i doing something wrong

well if its the copy rights....the prog ur using may be stopped by it, so use these progs

ive decided to use 3 progs to rip and burn my DVD:
-DVD Shrink
-Img Tool Burner AND Nero 6 (Trial) (Img tool uses Nero in conjuction to make an image and burn it to a DVD, so u NEED TO HAVE BOTH)

So first i used DVD Shrink to rip the DVD and then i used img tool burner AND Nero combo to burn it.

i used a few tuts to rip and burn the dvd, which are:

First check and make sure it is not the disks you are using to burn on, that they are not cheap media, ie Princo, CMC Mag, etc.

Try DVD Decrypter to rip and DVD Shrink to compress, both free. You can burn with Nero if you have it, if you do not use Decrypter. I have burned many episodic dvd's and using this combo and have no problems. Use software tab at top of page, and guides are available.
