Trying to play a PAL game on an NTSC xbox

Hey everyone.

I was trying to find a thread that would help me out but I've had no luck. I have a PAL game that I'm trying to run on my NTSC xbox. The game has been copied to my hard drive. I try to run it and I get the flickering screen. I went into my dashboard settings and set the video mode to NTSC, then to Auto, then to Rest of the World, then to PAL. All options gave me the flickering screen.

Some people in these forums said I needed something called Enigmah video switch or whatever it's called. I have this software on my xbox and I tried to set it to the PAL EEPROM setting. Fired up the game again and....you guessed it...got the flickering screen!

Is there any other way to get this game working? Can it be converted somehow? Is the problem simply that my tv just isn't compatible with the PAL format?
