hi guys and girls

just asking for some help with flashing back to cobra bios on my viper chip i flashed it via disc explorer to gcos 1.4 now i want to flash to cobra 1.0 but no option for disc explorer on menu of gcos any ideas how i can do this via a dvd burned with cobra 1.0?? thanks in advnace

I downloaded GCos but never actually tried it since Cobra 0.4 worked perfectly for me.

The NFO file with GCos 1.4 is not very helpful... AFAIK GCos does not have the ability to flash the Viper with a new BIOS like Cobra does.

So basically, there is no way to flash your Viper from DVD-R in GCos. You'll have to whip out your parallel programmer, or wait until the USB programmer is released.
