I have an Mpeg video file 768 mbs and need to split it for a data disc, Could somone point me towards an easy mpeg splitting program. Thanx.

1st off, that 786 meg mpeg file will fit on a 700 meg disk as long as you burn it as vcd/svcd (this is due to the fact burning in vcd/svcd mode is in x2a which uses no data error correction which takes up space). If you want to split a mpeg file use tmpgenc and go to file/merge and cut/ and there you can split a file.
