I used dvd decrypter to burn an iso for a ps2 game i set it to 2x but it burnt the game at 4x so it keeps freezing every once in a while so i need to burn it at 2x and make it stay at 2x

ur media (disc) and/or ur burner might not support the speed you are setting it too

my burner supports it (I looked it up ) and it gave me the 2x option, just when I selected 2x, it started burning at 4x
