i have some files that are wmv,mpg,all lower end like internet files----and i want to convert to a dvd standard--using tmpgenc or a dvd author----but it seems like almost any time i do some serious rendering or after awhile the computer freezes---i defrag--redo windows xp--etc....a few trillion times
and it still freezes

i have a p4 2.4ghz 1gig ram---- pretty decent cpu
aooh a soyo dragan ultra board----from 2002-
what can i try or what programs might be better thanks

Also:

- Make sure your DMA is turned on
- Latest firmware for your burner
