does it matter if you use dvd+r or dvd-r to burn games?
If the game is over 4.5gb do i have to but bigger media?

only thing that matters with this is if your ps2 console can read it:
-Every console can read the -r's.
-Only some v4's can read +r's, and everything v5 and up can read +r's

There may be a rare occurance that this differs, but not likely.

I don't know what's v5 and up.Does slim one works?

Then it gets harder. If you're trying to burn a big game, just search for topics about that specific title (God of War, Gran Turismo 4, etc...).

If you find yourself having trouble, chances are other people have figured out a method that works for that game.
